Amanda Wright

Amanda, she/they, is an artist and administrator living in Chicago. She is a co-founder of Sandbox Theatre Collective, a Chicago-based collective that provides funding and resources to artists creating new and reimagined works. Amanda studied Musical Theatre at the University of Utah where she co-created Open Door Productions, an outlet for student-produced works. She played Jesus in their inaugural production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. When not working in admin or producing projects with Sandbox, you can find Amanda curled up with her cat, Rutabaga.
